The battery lasted the entire garden. A bit heavier than my old trimmer, but not a real problem. The battery life indicator is a nice feature. The packaging was terrible. The item arrived in a box twice its size, and the wrapping paper was useless.

My mom was happy with hers, so I bought one too. It's lightweight but powerful. I was concerned about the automatic cord, as I'd never used one before. But it's great. Easy to assemble. I charged the battery for 40 minutes and was able to work in the garden right away. I'll never use a gas or electric powered machine again. Thanks!

Works great. I'm very satisfied. I have an 18 volt trimmer that works, but isn't powerful enough to cut larger weeds. The new trimmer does a good job with larger weeds, and the straight shaft allows me to reach more areas.

Handle slips. This trimmer works really well. I'm only giving it 4 stars because the lock on the handle doesn't work so well. I set it to one position, and while trimming, the handle slips and moves to another position on its own. It can be frustrating.

Very powerful and long battery life. This is a great string trimmer. The battery lasts a VERY long time. Enough power for all my trimming jobs and trimming sidewalk edges.
