Nice, thick glass. Nice, thick jars. The closures could be better, but they work well. The first set was so nice that I ordered a second one. The second set appears to have a hairline crack. I've contacted customer service and am currently waiting for a response.

I love these storage jars. I read reviews that the lids break the jars, but I haven't had any problems. I'm sometimes a little sloppy and careless with things and was glad to get a reminder to be careful. I can easily fit my hand inside the jar, and a 1/2 cup measuring cup fits inside as well. I ordered three sets.
