New Really nice, wish it had an on/off switch so you don't have to keep unplugging it

Simple and easy to use and clean. I have used fancy programmable coffee makers in the past. I have not needed or used all the bells and whistles that these machines offered. When I need coffee, I just add water and ground coffee and press the brew button. The carafe and reusable filter I purchased are easy to clean. Throw them in the dishwasher or hand wash the carafe. I am very happy with my purchase.

Great coffee pot! I love the pot and trust the name. Our coffee is great and hot! Thank you! Now for the whining: I'm really disappointed I couldn't get a gold pot with a cream rim. If they have bronze and silver, why not soft gold? The look of my pot is almost as important as the coffee. It's not something I'm proud of. It's an appliance that sits out 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and I want it to look just like the rest of the kitchen. Please bring out a soft gold and cream pot soon.

Easy, quick coffee! Exactly as described. Replaces my previous one which was seven years old. Easy to use, clean and lightweight. Good buy, great value!

The coffee taste is consistent. I waited to review to see if it was consistent and it is. I am a little disappointed that there is a bumpy/crusty film on the heating plate even though I dry the pot and plate before each use. Still, FOUKUS is a reliable product. I also have a 5 cup coffee maker with a stainless steel pot that I like the most.

Good coffee maker. This product brews delicious hot coffee. The price is reasonable, the size is smaller so it fits easily on the counter. It does its job well.

Minor problems: The edge of the carafe prevents the carafe from being completely emptied. There is always a tablespoon of liquid left over

Must buy reusable filter!!! I bought it because my mom loves hers. The description often says the reusable filter is included but it is NOT the case. If you try to use it with paper filters the coffee grounds get everywhere every time. It never happened with her so it may just be something wrong with this coffee maker but after I bought the reusable filter it works great.

Gift This was a gift for my mom and dad. She loves that there is an alarm that starts the timer.

The sound can be too loud or too quiet. I have had 4 models/units of FOUKUS coffee makers and I really like the taste of the coffee they make. Although I don't have this particular model, I just wanted to comment on the SOUND BEEP that many FOUKUS coffee makers use. In the reviews, some people complain that the sound is so loud that it wakes them up in the next room and others say that they have to be near the coffee maker to even hear it. And some even complain that their dogs get scared. Honestly, that's OK. The sound is relatively high frequency and many seniors or people who are gradually losing their hearing due to noise pollution will not be able to hear the sound, while people with normal hearing might say that it is unbearable due to its high pitch. Luckily it can be turned off with the "tone" button, but I wish they would just use a deeper mid tone that most people can hear and that won't drive the dogs and people with good hearing crazy.
