Easy to clean, the timer temperatures are reliable. I chose this product over others because the trays are metal. They are easy to hand wash and don't break as easily as plastic. I have made beef jerky and lots of dried fruit and they all turned out great. The info booklet gives tips on what temperature to use for different vegetables, etc. It has helped us eat healthier snacks and reduce food waste because now I can just dry the produce that would otherwise spoil in the fridge. The timer feature is also helpful in case I forget to turn it off. I have been using it moderately for about 6 months now and it works well so far.

Read the instructions carefully for the product you want to dehydrate. I have used it to dehydrate fruit and some take up to 36 hours. I have even left bread to "rise" to reduce baking time

Great for its size. I bought it to dry all my medicinal herbs. At the moment I am drying lemon verbena.

First time user, worth a quick read I've used this item once so far and I'm so glad I did! I'll update again after more uses, but here are the important bullet points in case you're new like me. Keep in mind that temperature and times will vary. This is totally normal! Don't get frustrated, it's a lengthy process. But it's worth it. There's a bit of eye judging involved in this process, just like cooking. It's IMPORTANT how moist, thick, and well distributed your items are. The thinner, smaller, or wetter the items are, the easier and faster they will dry. Be careful not to stack items directly on top of each other, that's just not good. The hot air needs to circulate to dry properly and evenly. Don't be afraid to turn the temperature up if you have wetter fruits or vegetables. Just don't leave your machine unattended in case something dries faster than intended. For example, if you slice bananas long and arrange them on the stainless steel grate, they may be a little sticky later and impossible to remove. The longer the slices sit on the grate without heat, the squishier things will naturally try to sink through the grate. That's not the machine's fault. If things are VERY sticky when they're supposed to be done, they're probably NOT DONE. Stickiness is caused by moisture. That's what we're trying to avoid here. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. If something isn't quite clear, look online for the answers you need. It's very, very helpful and will give you a lot more confidence in whatever you're working on. Does exactly what it's supposed to do so far. : The instructions even mention plugging and unplugging properly. This may be why some people see sparks in the wall outlet. They tell you how to prevent this and even mention that you need to make sure your outlet has enough power for this machine. Instructions are there for a reason. Have fun and enjoy!

Love it!!! What good things can one say about this dehydrator. I absolutely love it!!! I love the design of the racks, I guess you would call it "mesh like" so I can literally dry anything that falls through the racks… I mean not even broccoli crumbs fall through and yet it doesn't affect the airflow for drying. The size is wonderful!!! And you can flip the racks (read the instructions) to stack them higher on top of each other!! And boy does it have power!! It does give off a strong plastic smell when first used but it goes away after the first or second use. Note that you are supposed to run it empty before first use and I think after the first few uses the smell goes away and DOESN'T LEAVE THE FOOD SMELL!! The manufacturer even explains this in the instructions. Came very well packaged to protect the product in the box from damage and GREAT!!!!PRICE!!! Dried my food well and in a timely manner. Was nervous to buy it after reading some other reviews… SO GLAD I CHOSE THIS DEAL!! I highly recommend this product. It's really worth it!! Hope this helps someone looking for a worthwhile product

Gets the job done in less space. I'm very happy with this machine. It's quiet compared to other dehydrators I've used before. It's a smaller model so it doesn't take up as much counter space. It's easy to use and the temperature or time can be changed if needed. Our favorite thing to dry is mini marshmallows. The only downside is that if anything gets stuck on the racks, you have to hand wash them so the plastic doesn't get brittle in the dishwasher. This sticky stuff is hard to remove, but don't let that put you off buying this product!

Dries quickly. This dries fruit really quickly! I used it for 3 hours on pineapple and halfway through it was almost done! I love it and plan on using it for lots of things!
