Works great! Easy to set up and it works for basic shredding. I tried to test the limits and you should use it with flat paper and feed it in slowly. I am very happy with the ease of use, light weight, jam sensor and speed. Noise level is average for this type of machine.

Works great but what is that mysterious sticky substance? I received the product the same day and it works great. However, there is a huge amount of sticky substance all over it. It's not oil and there's nothing written on the packaging.

More powerful! The product is more powerful than my previous 12 sheet shredder. It can even shred CDs, which is surprising! I like it.

It shreds like it's supposed to! I bought one of these in 2020 and it lasted 4 years. Then I dropped it on a hard floor while moving and it stopped working. I can't really blame it for that so I bought a new one. What I'm also learning is not to feed too many sheets of paper at once! You can clear the paper jam by turning it backwards but be patient and feed fewer sheets at a time. Also, you need to clean the teeth every now and then. In other words, follow the directions.

Celebrating 9 years of PAPER SHREDDING fun with our FOUKUS 6 Sheet Cross Cut Paper and Credit Card Shredder about 9 years ago for home use to shred paper and old cards with personal information on them and it still runs great! You can shred up to six sheets of paper at once and it has a slot for credit cards. I have tried shredding a maximum of 7 or 8 sheets at once before but I don't recommend that as it struggles a bit then. It starts automatically as soon as you put the paper in the slot which makes for good security and it has a manual rewind to clear paper jams. It can start to overheat if you try to shred a thick stack of paper at once and will stop working making you think it's broken but it's not. That's just the thermal protection kicking in. Just let it cool down for a while and resume your shredding later. And, hey, don't procrastinate like I did and wait until you have a whole mountain of paper to shred in one go. Trust me, I've had to learn that lesson the hard way several times over the years, ha! Overall, this shredder is very functional and durable, and I highly recommend it!

FOUKUS 8 Sheet Paper and Credit Card Shredder with 4.1 Gallon Bin, Black I think it was about time I gave some feedback on the FOUKUS 8 Sheet Paper Shredder with 4.1 Gallon Bin, which I have had for 7 months now. I have to say, I love it. It does everything I need it to do. I always oil my shredders occasionally and they last a very long time. If I could wish for something, it would have been nicer if this shredder came with a larger bin underneath, but that was not a disadvantage, I find it is also easier to empty. I recommend purchasing this shredder. I would do it again and again.

Paper shredder Works perfectly for me, paper is shredded into tiny pieces. Now I will use the shredded paper as packing material.
